This event will be held at Juluka Yoga 394 Hillsdale Avenue, Hillsdale and will benefit Cleo, the retired racehorse/research mare of Mylestone Equine Rescue.  The class begins at 7:30 pm with yoga led by the popular and talented Juluka yoga trained instructor Soo Yoon accompanied by professional singer and guitarist Jennifer Johnson. The reception follows immediately after the class at 9pm with food, wine, Silent Auction, Free Goody Bags and “entertainment with a touch of Ireland” by singer-guitarist Ed Saultz.  The donation is $30 for the entire night, or $12 for reception only.  Spots are limited so please call Mandy at 201 638 6828 to make a reservation. For more information visit www.peace4paws.org or read on.
At 7:30 pm Soo Yoon will lead a yoga class that incorporates breathing, meditation, stretching, and strengthening yoga poses comfortable and stimulating for all ages and level of experience. She will be assisted by other yoga teachers who will be available to adjust during class. Juluka has partnered with Peace4Paws helping animals through yoga since 2007.  Since 2010, Mandy Grant, the owner of Juluka, and Peace4Paws have specifically supported the sanctuary of Cleo, a retired racehorse who upon her injury was sold to a laboratory, and later rescued by NJ’s Mylestone Equine Rescue where she has found permanent sanctuary.

Jennifer Johnson, will be performing jazz-folk original music live on guitar during the yoga class making the evening even more inspirational and unique. She is an award winning song-writer, singer, guitarist and pianist. She is a wild horse advocate and sponsors a horse at Mylestone Equine Rescue where Cleo, the evening’s beneficiary resides.  Jennifer Johnson’s  program will blend her experience in performing in multiple genres - from classical, Broadway/cabaret, Celtic/Irish to jazz - to her current focus as a songwriter. She has sung at various concert rooms and venues - including opening for Scottish group ‘Old Blind Dogs’ and touring with Grammy musicians George Kahumoku Jr. and Daniel Ho - throughout NJ, NYC, LA, Hawaii and internationally over the last 20 years. Johnson’s other award-winning songs are some of the highlights on her jazz/pop album ‘Midnight Blue’, recorded in 2010, inspired by her early days singing and living in New York City. She worked with Grammy- winning producer Ben Wisch on her first album ‘My Secret Garden’, recorded in Greenwich Village in 2003. Her first cd ‘My Secret Garden’ was recorded in 2003 with Ben Wisch.

At 9pm after the yoga class the participants will enjoy delicious food and wine and live entertainment by another animal advocate volunteer, Ed Saultz.  Ed regularly spends quality time with Cleo at Mylestone Equine Rescue.

Ed Saultz, singer, guitar, and bodhrán player, performs the traditional and contemporary music of Ireland and Scotland in pubs, festivals, social clubs, private parties, community and corporate events.  His repertoire includes the pub favorites, social ballads, love songs, and political ballads, as well as guitar or bodhrán accompaniment for the dance tunes.  Through the early and mid nineteen seventies he performed with a four piece bluegrass ensembles. He then took a nearly thirty year hiatus from playing music. Whilst traveling in Ireland in 2002 Ed was inspired back to music by young musicians he saw playing at a regional Fleadh Cheóil in Athea, County Limerick.
