Yoga 2012 Juluka

Community Yoga at Juluka in November was a rewarding experience for all!

Throughout the month of November 2012, Juluka Yoga Studio in Hillsdale, NJ partnered with the Northern New Jersey-based 501 ( c ) 3 charitable organization, peace4paws, to raise awareness and funds to benefit animals that have been retired from use in research and related fields. To show its support, Juluka Yoga donated all proceeds from its weekly Friday 7:30 p.m. and Saturday 5:00 p.m. community yoga classes in November to three animal sanctuaries around the country: The Kindness Ranch, Mylestone Equine Rescue, and Save the Chimps.

The yoga classes were taught by the 2012 teacher trainees, Vas, Gail, Betina, Madeline, and a few other talented new teachers.  Jennifer Cece Bellon, a graduate from the very first Juluka teacher training class, who is also, the President and Co Founder of peace4paws taught a few classes also.  The students were very appreciative, receptive, and enthusiastic about the work of the teachers, the cause to help research animals, and the health benefits associated with participating in Juluka style yoga.  The teachers and the students were able to socialize after class and it was really nice feeling to have that opportunity to mix and mingle and for everyone to get to know each other.  This friendly, family style atmosphere is characteristic of the typical Juluka yoga experience, and peace4paws events in general.

Juluka's Community Classes is $8 per person, however, donations of any amount are appreciated or may be donated at any time. Please check Juluka's schedule for the complete listing of classes at www.julukayoga.com.
